- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, proposal management, product specialists, supply chain, field service, and project execution teams to develop technically compliant, commercially competitive, and bundled service solutions.
- Provide market intelligence, forecasting, and business case development by monitoring industry trends, customer investment plans, and regulatory drivers while ensuring seamless opportunity handoff, risk communication, and successful project execution.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Business, or a related discipline, with 5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, engineering, project execution, field service, or proposal management within the high-voltage transmission or power systems industry.
- Working knowledge of FACTS and/or HVDC systems, including control and protection systems, power electronics, transformers, cooling systems, switchgear, auxiliary systems, and related station equipment.
- Proven experience developing and selling service solutions such as modernization programs, upgrades, refurbishments, spare parts, maintenance services, technical support offerings, and long-term service agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships, create demand, qualify opportunities, and successfully manage complex technical sales opportunities through extended decision-making and procurement cycles.
- Strong commercial and business acumen, including value-based selling, pricing strategy, risk assessment, contract awareness, negotiation support, and the ability to communicate technical concepts and business value to both executive and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across global organizations; proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), a disciplined approach to pipeline management, and willingness to travel approximately 30-50% throughout North America.
