Part Time Title I Kindergarten Classroom Aide
Location: Goodsell Elementary School Schedule: 16-18 Hours a week, to be determined with the right candidate Start Date: 11/23/26
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the kindergarten teacher with daily classroom activities and instruction.
- Working with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
- Helping students develop academic, social, and emotional skills.
- Preparing classroom materials and assisting with classroom organization.
- Providing a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Supporting students with daily routines and classroom expectations.
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Have a genuine love for working with young children.
- Be patient, dependable, flexible, and enthusiastic.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Be willing to take initiative and assist wherever needed.
- Help create a welcoming and supportive classroom environment.
Qualification:
- All paraprofessionals must have a high school diploma or equivalent AND (a) completed 32 or more credits at an institution of higher education (verified by college transcript); OR (b) received a passing score on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (460 or higher) prior to beginning employment.
