What You’ll Do

• Guest Room & Facility Upkeep: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair guest room equipment, furniture, fixtures, and common areas to maintain our high Hilton standards.
• General Trades & Repairs: Handle routine building maintenance, including structural repairs, drywall, painting, wallpaper, flooring/carpet touch-ups, and door/window fixes.
• Systems Maintenance: Assist with plumbing repairs to prevent water damage, maintain HVAC climate control equipment, and occasionally handle basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, chemical safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures. Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure SDS files are up to date.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside and help train fellow maintenance staff, partnering with the General Manager to report major issues and keep inventory well-stocked.

Job Qualifications What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Experience: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred. Technical school training or prior hotel/facility maintenance experience is a huge plus!
• Skills: Strong basic reading, writing, and math skills, plus solid time-management abilities and extreme attention to detail.
• Customer Service: A welcoming, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
• Requirements: A valid driver's license and the ability to work scheduled shifts (including weekends/holidays as needed for a bustling hotel environment).
