Job description: Journeyman Plumber Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dependable Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, ensuring plumbing systems are installed, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards. Journeyman Plumber Key Duties
? Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in both residential and commercial buildings.
? Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and installation requirements.
? Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances, including but not limited to sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and dishwashers.
? Work collaboratively with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure proper system coordination.
? Conduct inspections to identify issues, potential problems, or necessary repairs.
? Respond promptly to service calls and diagnose plumbing issues on-site.
? Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and service reports. Journeyman Plumber Requirements
? Valid driver's license required.
? Journeyman Plumber license required.
? 2 years of experience required.
? Strong understanding of math for measuring, cutting, and calculating pipe lengths, angles, and dimensions.
? Previous plumbing experience required; related experience in carpentry or HVAC is a plus.
? Proven ability to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fixtures, and plumbing appliances.
? Physically able to lift heavy materials, work in tight or confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
? Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints.
? Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify effective solutions quickly.
