Original job description

Lead People. Build Teams. Drive Results.

Are you a strong leader with experience managing teams in the trades, construction, service, logistics, manufacturing, or another hands-on industry? Do you excel at developing people, creating accountability, and building a positive culture?

We are looking for a Field Operations Manager to lead and develop our field teams while overseeing daily operations in a fast-paced restoration environment. Restoration experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right leader on the technical aspects of the industry.

This role is approximately 60% field-based and 40% office-based, providing hands-on leadership and support to our crews while helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to company standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop Crew Chiefs, Technicians, and field personnel.
  • Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance, safety, quality, and professionalism.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop field employees.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to support production, quality control, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, vehicles, and resources to meet operational goals.
  • Partner with Project Managers to execute projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Resolve employee and customer concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Monitor productivity, operational performance, and profitability metrics.
  • Support emergency response operations and large-loss projects when needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in the trades, construction, industrial, service, logistics, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing multiple crews, teams, or departments.
  • Strong leadership, accountability, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Experience hiring, training, and developing employees.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

What Makes You Successful

You are someone who:

  • Leads by example and earns the respect of your team.
  • Holds people accountable while building a positive culture.
  • Enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Solves problems proactively and keeps operations moving forward.
  • Maintains high standards for safety, quality, and customer service.

We Will Train the Right Candidate

If you have strong leadership experience and a proven ability to develop teams, we can teach you the restoration industry. We are looking for a leader first, technical restoration experience second.

Join a growing team where you can make a direct impact on people, operations, and company success every day.
