Job Description

Service Specialists is recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join the home office of a well-established organization in Ridgeland, Mississippi. This position will be part of the HR and payroll team responsible for supporting payroll operations for employees across six states.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and support multi-state payroll across six states.

• Review payroll data, wages, deductions, taxes, benefits, and employee changes for accuracy.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and required tax/government reporting.

• Partner with HR to support payroll needs and ensure timely, accurate processing.

Qualifications

• Multi-state payroll experience required.

• Experience with high-volume payroll preferred.

• UKG experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
