Welder/fabricator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: We have three MIG Welder/ Fabricator positions available. This position requires knowledge of MIG welding, wire feed welding, fabrication, and ability to read blueprints. Experience of at least 1 year and/or degree is preferred. Duties and responsibilities of the job include: Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding Lay out, position, align and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, and tape measure. Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits Position and secure work pieces, using hoists, cranes, or hand tools Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as MIG welding, torch, plasma torch, and overhead crane.
