Quality Specialist

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Daily verification and maintenance of production records. 2. Daily maintenance of Product Release Records. 3. Verification and maintenance of Facility Operational Inspections. 4. Enters completed maintenance Work Orders into the appropriate logs. 5. Manage the Positive Release System including the creation of Certificate of Analyses (COAs) and release of finished product. 6. Verifies files, and maintains calibration and laboratory records 7. Transfers required documents and data to the shared document system 8. Creates Certificates of Conformance (COC) documents when required by customers. 9. Assists with the New Product Development (NPD) process and completes associated documents including: 10. Maintains the Supplier Approval Register and all related supplier documentation and forms. 11. Assists with the training program by: a. Generating and uploading the training rosters. b. Filing and recording training tests. c. Maintaining the Training Register. 12. Assists with the Sanitation program by: a. Generating the monthly Master Sanitation Schedules. b. Entering sanitation data into the Master Sanitation Schedule Matrix and calculating scores. c. Filing all related paperwork. 13. Participates in Internal and External audits 14. Assists QA department by managing the Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) program 15. Participates as a member of the Self Inspection Team (SIT) and the Food Safety Team (FST). 16. Responsible for identifying and reporting issues that could affect food safety and quality. 17. Actively participates in customer complaint investigation and resolution. 18. Follows Marron Foods policies, safety program, SOPs, GMPs and Food Safety (HACCP) procedures. 19. Assist in all other duties as assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software. 2. Minimum of two years\' experience in the Food Industry and/or Third-Party Laboratory environment. 3. GFSI Audit experience (BRC or SQF) 4.
