JOB REQUIREMENTS: Feed and water pigs and piglets Provide daily care and monitoring of sows Provide daily care of piglets Monitor sows during farrowing (labor and delivery) Assist with piglet deliveries when necessary Administer medications and vaccinations Breed sows according to farm protocols Wean piglets from their mothers Observe animal health and report concerns promptly Follow all animal care and biosecurity procedures Additional Responsibilities: Operate a skid steer or bobcat for bedding removal and other farm duties Perform lawn mowing and general groundskeeping Assist with general farm maintenance Troubleshoot ventilation systems, feeding systems, and other mechanical equipment Perform minor mechanical repairs when able (mechanical aptitude is a plus) ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Comfortable working indoors with livestock Willingness to learn swine production Reliable transportation Ability to work every other weekend Ability to perform physically demanding work Positive attitude with excellent attendance ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply In Person: 800 Scott Street Suite #25 Wausau, WI 54403 E-Mail a Rsum: mollyher@service1ststaffing.com Call For Appointment: Please call 715-907-8143 to schedule an appointment to hear more about the jobs we have open!
