CNC LATHE MACHINIST

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and mill/turn machines. Perform full setups from engineering prints, including tooling and work offsets. Select and install cutting tools. Make program edits and machine adjustments as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Run repeat production, short-run, and complex parts. Most are 7 inch and smaller Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment. Monitor part quality and make necessary machining adjustments. Identify and address machining or quality issues. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow company quality and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience. CNC lathe experience required. Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment. Ability to perform complete setups independently. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Experience with precision measuring equipment and in-process inspection. Experience making program edits at the machine. Experience with live tooling, Y-axis, or sub-spindle equipment is preferred.
