Immediate supervisor: Food Service Supervisor

Hours and Pay: Start Part-Time (16 hours a week) with intention to go to Full-Time

$18.99/hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general supervision, the Cook will prepare meals and supervise inmates doing similar work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalency; successful completion of twenty-four (24) hours of Support Staff training; must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. An individual who poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or others in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position.

Prepares meals and trays for delivery

Assists in obtaining daily jail population count

Conducts inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment, as required

Inspects delivers, verifies that delivers correspond to purchase orders
