Tourism Manager

The Tourism Manager leads Destination Seneca County, the tourism division of the Seneca County Collaborative. The position leads countywide tourism promotion, partner engagement, visitor services, digital content, and operation of the Seneca County Welcome Center.

Responsibilities include developing tourism promotions and campaigns, building relationships with tourism partners, managing Destination Seneca County's website, social media platforms and event calendar, creating graphics and promotional materials using Canva, maintaining photography and marketing assets, developing visitor resources, coordinating Tourism Board meetings and reporting, and providing creative support for programs and initiatives across the Collaborative.

The position requires strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, customer service, digital content, social media, and design skills. Work is primarily performed in an office environment with regular travel throughout Seneca County and evening and weekend availability for tourism events, community programs, and meetings. Standard office, computer, photography, and digital content equipment are used.

Related experience that is acceptable

Tourism, destination marketing, hospitality, marketing, communications, community relations, social media, digital content development, graphic design, visitor services, public relations, or related work.

Hours

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Evening and weekend availability is required for tourism events, community programs, meetings, and other activities as needed.
