PALNG Rotating Equipment Engineer

Primary Purpose Develops and refines engineering solutions for components and subsystems, ensuring technical integrity and efficiency. Plays a key role in identifying design improvements, resolving technical challenges, and supporting implementation of best practices to enhance reliability and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluates operational data to detect patterns and recommend optimizations.
• Assists in preparing engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for new projects.
• Analyzes project and operational expenditures to suggest more cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Performs calculations related to load, flow rates, material strength, and other technical parameters.
• Assesses design drawings and provides recommendations to ensure compliance with project goals.
• Helps develop asset lifecycle plans for aging infrastructure and optimize replacement schedules.
• Leverages engineering software and data analytics tools for better decision-making.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

• Required: Typically requires 5 years of related experience.
