SUMMARY: The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Must be 18 years of age or older. - High School Diploma or GED required. - Above average computer / technology skills needed. - 2 years security experience required. - Previous experience in a data center environment or warehouse preferred. - Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service. - Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift. - Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation. - Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities. - All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: - Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm. - Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage. - Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards. - Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access. - Conflict resolution and de-escalation. - Perform access control at security entrances / exits. - Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks. - Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
