CNC Operator - 1st & 2nd shift

This job was posted by https://joblink.maine.gov : For more information, please see: https://joblink.maine.gov/jobs/1400724 - Machine Operation & Setup: Select and load the appropriate CNC cutting programs; safely set up and monitor laser machine parameters during the cutting process. - Material Handling: Load raw sheet metal or plates onto the cutting bed and position materials correctly using sheet loaders, laser conveyors, and overhead cranes. - Production Management: Complete all shift work orders efficiently, ensuring adherence to the priority schedule and meeting output metrics. - Quality Control: Conduct ongoing visual and precise dimensional inspections of finished parts to verify tight tolerances and sizes before passing components to the next stage of production. - Documentation: Count completed pieces to verify order accuracy; complete all required logs, production paperwork, part tags, and quality tracking sheets. - Maintenance & Housekeeping: Perform routine daily and preventative maintenance on the laser machinery; maintain a clean, organized work area (5S / good housekeeping). - Compliance: Adhere strictly to all standard operational procedures, safety guidelines, company handbook policies, and ISO environmental/quality management standards.
