Original job description

Location: Fully Remote Compensation: $25 to $30 USD/hour Benefits: 15 days PTO. Christmas Day and New Year's Day paid off. Fair warning: the pace is intense and the ambiguity is real. But you'll feel yourself growing every single week, even the rough ones, and you'll be doing it next to people who actually celebrate your wins and have your back.

We're the all-in-one agentic marketing platform. AI-native from day one. We're not joining a category, we're defining it. We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end, from database schema to shipped UI, across the products our customers rely on every day. If you want real ownership, move fast, and raise the bar every week, keep reading. If your best work happens when tickets are fully scoped before they reach you, this will be a tough adjustment.

What you'll own

Ship backend and frontend features end-to-end across Atlas Brain, OTTO, Content Genius, Site Explorer, Rank Tracker, and GBP Galactic
Design and maintain Django APIs and React/Next.js UIs that hold up under real production load
Instrument your own work, observability, error tracking, performance baselines, before anything hits production
Push back on specs that don't hold up and propose stronger approaches before a line of code is written
Diagnose production incidents end-to-end and own them through to resolution
Operate at high throughput alongside agentic tooling, using Claude Code and parallel Git worktrees as a primary development interface

You'll thrive here if...

You're equally comfortable in the database, the API layer, and the React component tree
You treat a product spec as a hypothesis to pressure-test, not an instruction to execute
You don't wait to be told what to do. You see the gap and you move.
Deadlines don't rattle you. Ambiguity doesn't either.
You're an AI power user, not someone who's "open to learning it someday."
You communicate clearly, especially when things are unclear.
You have opinions and you're not afraid to bring them.
You can laugh at a chaotic week on Friday and mean it.

What we're looking for

5+ years shipping production web applications across the full stack
Strong Python 3, Django REST Framework, and Celery
Strong React, Next.js, and TypeScript
PostgreSQL in production, no MySQL
Daily fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar agentic development tools. Not "open to it." Actually using it.
Experience with Sentry and the Grafana Stack, Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir, for observability and monitoring
Docker Compose for local development, GitLab or equivalent for CI/CD
Available in UTC or EST

What working here actually looks like High expectations. Real ownership. Things change fast and we don't apologize for it. You'll work with smart people who push you, a product that keeps getting better, and a team that's genuinely building something new. You'll sit in a pod: one PM, one designer, two or three engineers. One senior engineer with Claude Code and parallel Git worktrees is expected to deliver what used to take a whole team. That's not a figure of speech. We'll probably give you more to own than you expected. That's on purpose. We use AI every day, across every function. That's just how we work.

What we stand for

We are obsessed with our customers, and making them obsessed with us
We figure it the f**k out
We go to war on our problems quickly
We are strategic. We work smart, not just hard.
We're fun AF

About Search Atlas Search Atlas helps marketing teams move faster, make smarter decisions, and do more with less. We're a $30M+ ARR company, 215 people, bootstrapped, and building the infrastructure for the next era of marketing. No outside funding. No fluff. Just product.
