Senior Staff / Senior Algorithm Engineer (Clearance Required)

Responsibilities - Lead the research, development, and maturation of advanced numerical algorithms for image processing and data exploitation, including detection, tracking, estimation, clutter suppression, and processing. - Design, implement, and optimize high-performance tracking algorithms in Python, Rust, and C++, with emphasis on scalability, latency reduction, and robustness for operational missions. - Develop and tune Kalman filtering, tracking, and data exploitation algorithms in Python, Rust, and C++. - Develop and optimize Resource Management algorithms based on mission requirements - Architect and develop end to end processing pipelines, from raw data ingest through processing chains, feature extraction, tracking, and production deployment in mission environments. - Experience employing Cuda and its ecosystem for libraries Requirements - Active Top Secret security clearance - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related technical field - 8+ years of professional software engineering experience - 5+ years of experience implementing Kalman or particle filtering - Proficient in Python, Rust, and C++ for algorithm development and tuning - Experience writing and maintaining automated tests - Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, well-tested code - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across technical disciplines Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred: - PhD in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field - Active TS/SCI security clearance - Experience working with remotely sensed data or scientific data processing workflows - Experience working with Computer Vision algorithms and libraries for feature recognition and typing - Experience working in Agile software development environments and using task scheduling and tracking software (e.g., JIRA) [*Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be c ]{segoe="" ui",="" tahoma,="" sans-serif"=""}
