Job Title: Cloud backend engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite Interview looking for Local)

Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card, or GC EAD preferred W2 Requirement- No C2C, 1099, or third-party profiles accepted.

Must

have skills:

Glue, S3, Lambda, Step function, ECS, Cassandra, Java, Python, Terraform.

Nice to

have:

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience

Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability within AWS

Advanced in one or more programming language(s) including Java, Python

Expert level experience with data engineering technologies and tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Cassandra and ETL processes.

Experience building services with Spring (Boot) and gRPC APIs.

Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Kubernetes, and containers

Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

AWS Solutions Architect Certification is a plus
