Custodian - 2nd Shift

The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a full-time second shift Custodian at the Elementary School. Hours of work are approximately 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. This position is responsible for light property maintenance and grounds care, cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, lavatories, and the cafeteria; emptying trash and recycling containers; replacing supplies; using appropriate equipment and chemicals as needed; and other tasks as assigned by the custodial supervisor. Starting rate of pay is $17.96/hour, higher starting wages commensurate with custodial experience. This is a benefit eligible position. Qualifications:

Six months experience in custodial work is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others and acceptable record of attendance required.
