Job Description

Schiller is a premier provider of construction materials supporting Divisions 8 (Doors, Frames, Hardware), 10 (Miscellaneous Specialties), 27 (Structured Cabling), and 28 (Electronic Access Control and Video Surveillance). We are looking to fill (2) full-time positions in our Division 8 estimating department with the best candidates.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Reviewing and interpreting construction documents including specifications and drawings

Compiling information and requesting quotations from our vendor partners

Reviewing manufacturer’s quotes for accuracy, specifically inclusions and exclusions

Preparing professional sales quotations and presenting them to general contractors

Following up with general contractors post-bid to determine if we will be awarded the project as well as gaining important feedback on projects we are not being awarded.

Skillset Preferences:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, & Excel)

Highly organized

Ability to multi-task

Become proficient in Schiller’s ERP system – Comsense or similar industry software

Ability to work within a team environment

Excellent use of time management
