Truck Driver

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe transportation of scaffolding and swing stage materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely deliveries, and assisting with loading/unloading as needed. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safely operate a 24’ flatbed with Moffet or tractor to transport scaffolding and mobile equipment.
• Load and unload scaffolding equipment at job sites using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Ensure all materials are secured properly for transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate bill of ladings.
• Follow all DOT, state, and company driving regulations.
• Assist the scaffolding team in material handling and site setup when needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding deliveries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating commercial trucks, preferably in construction or scaffolding industries.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to maintain an active state issued driver’s license.

JOB DEMANDS:

• Ability to lift heavy materials up to 75 lbs.
• Tolerance for working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
• Frequent crouching, bending, and kneeling as needed.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and travel out of town as project needs demand.
