Senior Production Operator

Savvy Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Production Operator for a 3rd shift opportunity with a manufacturing company. This position is responsible for setting up and operating production machinery used to blend, mix, or extrude dry and liquid chemicals to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of production experience, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support and train fellow team members. Responsibilities \~ Set up, start, and operate blending, mixing, or extrusion machinery according to established procedures. \~ Weigh and measure ingredients accurately to meet production recipes and specifications. \~ Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure safe, efficient operation and consistent product quality. \~ Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues and report concerns to the lead or supervisor as needed. \~ Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. \~ Collect samples for quality testing and make approved batch adjustments as directed by the lab. \~ Label finished products and complete required production documentation, logs, and reports. \~ Complete SAP transactions accurately and maintain production records. \~ Clean machinery and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. \~ Assist with training new employees and supporting team members on production procedures. \~ Follow company policies, ISO standards, and all environmental, health, and safety requirements. \~ Demonstrate teamwork and leadership while supporting daily production goals. Qualifications \~ Minimum of 3 years of production experience required. \~ Previous experience with blending, mixing, extrusion, or chemical processing preferred. \~ Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. \~ Ability to follow detailed recipes, procedures, and safety guidelines. \~ Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. \~ Computer skills and SAP experience preferred. \~ Ability to complete production paperwork accurately. \~ Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. \~ Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
