Respite Provider

ABOUT THE POSITION

Santa Lucia is seeking compassionate and dedicated respite provider to support an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and community involvement. This role offers the opportunity to engage in community-based activities, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a fulfilling lifestyle in the community and at home. What’s it like to be a caregiver at Santa Lucia?

On a typical day, you would:

• Provide transportation and supervision.
• Model appropriate behaviors.
• Plan and participate in community activities (i.e. movies, bowling, parks, zoo visits, car rides, sporting events, etc.).
• Support individuals in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and assist with daily living skills.

Qualifications:

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required with satisfactory driving record.
• Experience: No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug test, and I9.

Compensation:

• $15 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-5:30pm
• Saturday 12pm-5pm
