Security Guard

• SFC is seeking a reliable and professional Armed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will have professional security experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to respond effectively to security concerns.

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats or suspicious activities
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or assist in investigations
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergencies.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations
• Document all incidents accurately in reports for future reference and analysis
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with security practices

Professional Requirements:

• Valid armed security license or certification as required by state regulations
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is preferred
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems
• First aid and CPR certification
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve security objectives
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks
• Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods while performing duties
