Location Type: Mill Metal Type: Carbon Metal Shape: Long Products Compensation Range: $140K+
- 5+ years of industrial automation experience, preferably in a steel mill, metals, or other heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and controls systems, including Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens platforms.
- Experience with VFDs, motors, drives, HMIs, instrumentation, sensors, and industrial control systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation problems in production equipment and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Experience supporting steel mill equipment and processes such as EAFs, LMFs, casters, rolling mills, material handling, or similar heavy industrial equipment.
- Strong ability to work with maintenance, electrical, operations, and engineering teams on equipment upgrades, process improvements, and automation projects.
