About the role As Director of Growth Marketing, you own the acquisition and conversion strategy that connects marketing investment to qualified pipeline, customer acquisition, and revenue across the SalesRabbit portfolio. You translate company go-to-market priorities into an integrated growth plan and lead the people, programs, investment, and partners responsible for delivering it. You are accountable for setting priorities, allocating investment, improving performance, and explaining the commercial results. PPC and SEM generate most of our lead flow today. You will strengthen that foundation while developing acquisition opportunities across existing products and the launch of RoofRabbit. Your scope includes paid acquisition, integrated campaigns, prospect lifecycle, conversion optimization, account-based marketing, and events. You connect these programs to the buying journey, improving how prospects discover our products, evaluate their value, become qualified opportunities, and convert into customers. You partner closely with Product Marketing, which owns buyer segmentation, positioning, product launch strategy, sales enablement and training, competitive intelligence, and customer adoption and expansion strategy. You translate that foundation into campaigns, offers, and conversion experiences that reach the right buyers and move them toward revenue. You coordinate with Brand and Content on creative and organic demand, and with Product on activation, self-service conversion, and sales-assisted product-led growth. You establish clear responsibilities across these teams so shared goals produce coordinated execution. This is a highly hands-on leadership role. You will personally lead critical Growth Marketing work while building the team, operating rhythms, and capabilities required to scale. You must be able to move from an investment decision to the underlying campaign, funnel, or customer data, identify what is limiting performance, and direct the changes needed to improve it. You will develop internal talent and manage specialist agencies with the same expectations for quality, accountability, and business impact. You use AI and automation as a core part of how the function operates, accelerating research, segmentation, campaign development, personalization, experimentation, and analysis while maintaining accuracy and sound judgment. Your success is measured by qualified pipeline, bookings, acquisition efficiency, funnel conversion, and your ability to consistently turn insight into better commercial results.
Who We Are Sales Rabbit is a software company built for roofing and field sales. It builds the tools contractors and reps use at the door, in the office, and on the job: to generate demand, sell, operate, and get paid. Those tools run from the first lead to the final payment, so the job doesn't get lost in between. They're designed to help contractors maximize their efficiency. We build software solutions that propel our customers' businesses forward: Roof Rabbit for roofing and Field Rabbit for everything else sold door-to-door. Everything runs as one unified, AI-native platform, in a single flow from lead to cash. Our solution brings together AI canvassing, online estimates, instant quotes, territory mapping, scheduling, communication, weather data, proposals, financing, measurements, project management, material ordering, inspections, and payments. We believe speed decides who wins in the field, and that belief changes how we build and operate. As a distributed team, we focus on moving faster, operating with greater agility, and using AI and automation as practical force multipliers. Our goal is simple: help contractors grow more efficiently while building a company that can learn, innovate, and deliver value faster.
What You Will Own Growth Strategy and Investment

- Allocate investment across channels and programs based on customer quality, acquisition economics, conversion performance, and the maturity of each growth opportunity.
- Protect the existing acquisition engine while testing new audiences, offers, channels, and product entry points.
- Provide clear recommendations on what to scale, improve, stop, or resource differently.
Acquisition and Campaign Performance
- Own paid acquisition strategy and execution, with immediate responsibility for PPC and SEM performance.
- Build integrated campaigns across products, segments, and audiences using positioning and customer insight developed with Product Marketing.
- Continuously improve targeting, bidding, offers, creative, landing pages, and conversion paths based on downstream performance.
- Lead prospect nurture, trial communications, reactivation, and other lifecycle programs that improve conversion.
- Direct paid media and specialist partners, maintaining visibility into their work and accountability for commercial outcomes.
- Coordinate with Brand and Content on campaign assets and organic demand without taking ownership of the editorial calendar, social channels, or SEO and AEO strategy.
Funnel Performance and Product-Led Growth
- Establish shared funnel definitions, qualification criteria, Sales handoff standards, and performance measures with Sales, Product, and Operations.
- Lead funnel reviews that identify constraints, establish corrective actions, and assign clear owners.
- Partner with Product on activation, trial or freemium conversion, and product-qualified Sales handoffs.

- Build a disciplined experimentation program across audiences, offers, messaging, channels, and conversion points.
- Define reporting requirements with Operations and use the resulting data to make investment and execution decisions. Operations owns systems, routing implementation, and reporting infrastructure.
Account-Based Marketing and Events
- Develop target-account programs with Sales, including account selection, buying-group priorities, engagement plans, and follow-up.
- Own the commercial strategy for conferences, executive dinners, webinars, partner events, and other field programs.
- Connect event and account engagement to qualified meetings, opportunity creation, and deal progression.
- Use specialist partners for production and logistics while retaining internal ownership of objectives, audience, experience, and results.
Team Leadership and Operating Discipline
- Establish the function before the full team is in place, then sequence the hiring and development of Growth Marketing and Field & ABM capability based on demonstrated business needs.
- Set clear expectations for internal employees and external partners, review the quality of their work, and coach them toward stronger performance.
- Personally lead the most consequential work while developing the team’s judgment and execution capabilities.
- Make deliberate resource decisions based on the work required and the return expected.
- Build repeatable AI-enabled workflows that improve research, segmentation, campaign development, personalization, experimentation, and analysis.
- Communicate performance clearly, distinguish evidence from assumptions, and escalate material risks with options and a recommendation.

Who Thrives Here You take accountability for business outcomes and communicate directly when performance is off plan. You investigate the cause before increasing spend, identify the most important constraint to growth, make decisions with incomplete information, and change course when the evidence warrants it. You combine analytical depth with strong customer and creative judgment. You can evaluate the audience, offer, message, channel, conversion experience, and downstream commercial performance together rather than optimizing each in isolation. You are comfortable protecting an established acquisition engine while testing new products, audiences, and buying motions with clear hypotheses and disciplined investment. You understand both sales-assisted and self-service journeys and know how to partner with Product on activation without treating product-led growth as simply another acquisition campaign. You can establish strategy and personally inspect the work. You develop people, use outside expertise effectively, and maintain clear ownership across functions. You understand that content and creative are essential to growth and can direct their use in campaigns while respecting Brand and Content’s ownership of editorial, organic acquisition, and brand expression. You use AI and automation to improve research, segmentation, analysis, experimentation, personalization, and execution, with appropriate checks on accuracy and quality. You bring urgency without creating unnecessary activity. You communicate clearly about what is working, what is underperforming, what will change, and where a decision is needed. You take accountability for results, give credit generously, and are willing to acknowledge when an assumption or decision was wrong. At Sales Rabbit, we hire for operating cadence and mindset. The people who do best here share a few things in common:
- Active Curiosity - You seek root causes before proposing solutions and stay ahead of industry trends and tools.
- Grit & Scrappiness - You roll up your sleeves on hard, ambiguous, unglamorous work. You build from scratch and clean up inherited debt.
- Extreme Ownership - You take accountability for outcomes, proactively communicate blockers, and deliver with minimal oversight.
- Bias Toward Impact - You measure success by business outcome, not effort. You course-correct fast and without ego.
- Team-First Collaboration - You listen to understand, give credit generously, and push back when something is wrong - to protect the outcome, not win the argument.
