YOU WILL BE:
The Product & Sample Operations Supervisor oversees the sample lifecycle and item go-live workflow for assigned ELG categories. This role leads the studio turn-in process, manages vendor data acquisition, and coordinates cross-functionally across vendors, merchants, studio and digital partners to ensure luxury merchandise is shot, accurately attributed, and published on schedule. The Product & Sample Operations Supervisor sets up and pushes items physically through the photo studio and systemically through the digital item lifecycle.
Cross-functional partners at this level include:
- Merchants
- External Vendor Account Reps
- Item Setup / Copy Associates
- Studio / Photography Managers
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Proactively work with vendors to ensure all merchandise is shot and copy attributes are complete, 8 weeks prior to go live date (launch date, pre-order date, start ship date)
- Maintain Master Sample Tracking Sheet for each product purchased by ELG by fashion season
- Maintain and setup all items in product management system
- Set items up for studio turn-in
- Partner with cross-functional partners (item setup, buying office, studio, creative teams) to ensure timely publication of products
- Proactively manage the flow of samples and turn-in schedule to minimize peaks and valleys.
- Support the Manager & Director on any and all Sample Management special projects (European Shoots, VPI, time studies, physical inventory)
- Provide daily status reports on the workflow summary report and project progress updates to the Manager / Director
- Ad-hoc projects and data entry
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
- BA/BS degree with 1–2+ years of e-commerce retail operations, merchandising, or digital studio coordination experience.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to haves):
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel (VLOOKUPs, data tracking) and experience working within PIM systems and cloud asset storage (Box.com).
- Communication & Resilience: Assertive, diplomatic vendor management skills with the persistence needed to retrieve missing product data under tight deadlines.
- Operational Agility: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving instincts, and the ability to pivot priorities quickly in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.

Salary Range $46,000 - $58,000* Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
