Surface Systems Integration Technician I

Description

SAIC is seeking an Integration Technician in North Charleston, SC .

Job Duties:

• Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables.
• Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components.
• Identify and report design or fitment issues and work with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays.
• Must be able to multitask and adapt to rapid changes that are made during the build process.
• Provide technical support during system testing. Must perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent (GED) and three (3) years related experience. Will accept associates degree in engineering technology or formal electronics training in lieu of experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
• Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment and able to take direction and constructive criticism.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Three years experience in maintenance or manufacturing.

Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
