- Lead strategic pricing, packaging and monetization initiatives across priority Sage products and services.
- Partner with Product, Product Marketing, Finance, Sales and Commercial leadership to shape pricing strategy and go-to-market recommendations.
- Develop pricing and packaging strategies informed by customer value, willingness to pay, competitive positioning, segmentation and financial analysis.
- Lead pricing strategy for Payments, FinTech and embedded financial services, including subscription, transaction-based, usage-based and hybrid models.
- Build commercial models evaluating transaction volumes, adoption, customer behavior, unit economics, partner economics and revenue sensitivity.
- Evaluate new product launches and monetization opportunities, developing financial scenarios and assessing the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, adoption and retention.
- Present data-driven recommendations, alternatives and trade-offs to senior leadership, leveraging market insights, analytics and AI to improve pricing decisions.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of pricing strategy experience within a technology/SaaS company or management consulting firm.
- Strong pricing expertise within the payments industry, including pricing models, fee structures, and competitive positioning.
- Proven ability to develop pricing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate market trends, competitive insights, and financial data into actionable pricing recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present recommendations to senior leadership.
