• Assistant Pastry Chef - URGENT HIRE Assistant Pastry Chef: We are looking for a passionate, reliable, and innovative assistant pastry chef who enjoys creating desserts, pastries, and breads from scratch. Salary Range: $15.00 To $18.00 hourly, wknds and nighttime availability required

Full-Time positions @ two locations in Lake Worth FL:

• Benny's On the Beach: offering an all-American "ocean to table" fare. Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch & Dinner
• Viva La Playa: offering Oceanside flavors inspired by Latin America. Lunch, Brunch $ Dinner

Job Tasks for the Assistant Pastry Chef will include:

• Work directly with the Pastry Chef to aid in the production of all desserts, pastries, breads, and tarts.
• Bread & muffin making from scratch.
• Making filo dough from scratch to create pastry shells for seafood salads & appetizers.
• Help in the plating of a variety of desserts, such as cakes, tarts, & pies.

The Assistant Pastry Chef’s responsibilities & qualifications:

• Perfect position for a culinary or baking student or recent graduate.
• Be passionate with a willingness to learn new skills.

• Ability to handle a busy kitchen atmosphere.
• Detail-oriented & Reliable: Takes pride in each step, all the way to the finishing touches.
• Anyone without a culinary education should have at least 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen.
