Work directly with clients to understand project goals, requirements, and priorities
Participate in project planning, design coordination, client meetings, presentations, and proposals
Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance
Apply applicable building codes and industry standards, including FBC, IBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA
Provide technical guidance and review the work of junior engineers and designers

Active PE license in good standing
7+ years of MEP design experience
Experience working on major projects and/or multiple moderate-sized projects
Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior staff
Working knowledge of FBC, IBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Experience contributing to or leading design teams
Experience with building and site design
Experience managing or mentoring staff
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as project needs require
Due to federal contract requirements, this position is limited to candidates who are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents

Preferred:

Experience with business development, marketing, proposals, and client coordination
Ability to obtain and maintain engineering licensure in multiple states
NCEES certification
