We’re known for our unmatched expertise, our state-of-the-art manufacturing systems, and our philosophy of customer-driven innovation, from concept to store-level implementation. Whether it be new stores, remodels or even special rollouts, we deliver them fast and on time with solutions that benefit retail operations and sales.

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, full-time Assembler to join our team in producing high-quality metal shelving, and cabinetry. In this role, you will be responsible for the final fit and finish of our sheet metal products, ensuring every door, drawer, and piece of molding functions flawlessly and meets our rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, has an excellent eye for detail, and is highly proficient with standard manufacturing shop tools.

Core Responsibilities

  • Interpret Blueprints and Layouts: Review technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine assembly sequences, hardware requirements, and material specifications.

  • Fit Doors, Drawers, and Moldings: Skilled alignment and installation of cabinet doors, drawers, and decorative moldings, ensuring precise gaps, smooth operation, and uniform spacing.
  • Inspect and Adjust Minor Defects: Examine fitted parts for misalignments or mechanical resistance, making necessary adjustments to tracks, hinges, and panels to achieve a perfect fit.
  • Repair Surface Imperfections: Identify and remove dents, smooth out minor scratches, and apply touch-up finishes to sheet metal surfaces to deliver an unblemished final product.
  • Install and Troubleshoot Hardware: Mount functional hardware including handles, locks, slides, and catches, performing on-the-spot repairs or replacements for any defective components.
  • Conduct Final Quality Assurance: Perform a comprehensive final inspection of the completed cabinetry or shelving unit to guarantee structural integrity, functional excellence, and visual appeal before staging for shipment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and deep familiarity with a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment (screwdrivers, wrenches, mallets, cordless drills, rivet guns, pneumatic drivers).
  • Precision Trade Skills: Demonstrated skill in precision fitting (doors, drawers, hardware, and trim) and the ability to read and interpret technical blueprints or manufacturing schematics.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to detect and physically repair minor material defects like scratches, dents, and misalignments.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, tape measures, squares).
  • Prior experience handling finishing compounds, touch-up paint, and metal scratch repair kits.
