70 CPM on loaded and empty miles $30 additional pay on every load Assigned Peterbilt 567 and 579 tractors $5,000 sign-on bonus for solo drivers

Flatbed freight reliability and lane familiarity give experienced CDL-A drivers a practical combination of established routes, assigned equipment, and scheduled home time. Rouse Trucking transports building materials, pipe, coils, and similar flatbed freight, with most operations running east of I-35.

Flatbed Freight & Pay

Drivers earn $1,675 to $1,775 per week, with 70 CPM paid on both loaded and empty miles.

• Additional $30 paid on every load

• Tarping required on approximately 3 out of 5 loads

• $30 load pay applies whether tarping is needed or not

• $5,000 sign-on bonus for solo drivers

Load securement and tarping are regular responsibilities, so prior hands-on flatbed experience is important for this position.

• 2020 through 2025 Peterbilt 567 and 579 tractors

• Automatic and manual transmission options

• 2024 48-foot spread-axle flatbed trailers

• Trucks governed at 70 MPH

Drivers may take their assigned truck home when safe parking is available. Regular maintenance helps support dependable equipment operation.

Transition Pay & Driver Options

Transition pay is provided during the first few weeks while drivers become familiar with routes, scheduling, and dispatch operations.

One pet may ride along with no breed or weight restrictions, and cats are allowed. One passenger age 10 or older is permitted with the required liability form.

Benefits

Health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and vacation time are available.
