EDC Aide

Job Summary Under the immediate direction of the Superintendent and/or designee in coordination with the EDC Lead Aide; perform a variety of child care activities; assist in maintaining proper school and classroom environment; supervise students in extended day setting; and perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Knowledge of: Assists in supervising children in a before and after school quiet study and recreational setting; Demonstrate an understanding, patient and receptive attitude toward students of varied age groups; comply with appropriate cleanliness standards, health and safety codes; and prepare food snacks. Conditions of Employment: Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice, pre-employment physical and TB clearance is required for this position. The processing fee for fingerprints will be at the applicant's expense.
