Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Duty Truck Technician Sioux City, IA | $30–$40/hr | Monday–Friday day shift | No Weekends

If you know your way around a Class 6–8 truck, can chase down a problem instead of just throwing parts at it, and take pride in turning out a good repair - this is worth a look.

  • Engine and drivetrain repairs
  • Electrical and electronic diagnostics
  • Hydraulics, brakes, suspension and steering
  • HVAC and other truck/trailer systems
  • Preventive maintenance and general repair work
  • Troubleshoot problems, find the root cause and get the truck back on the road

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of diesel/heavy-duty truck repair experience
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable working through electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems
  • Own trade tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • ASE certifications, formal diesel training or additional heavy-duty experience are a plus.

What's In It For You

  • $30–$40/hr depending on experience and skill level
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • NO WEEKENDS
  • Paid time off and holiday pay
  • Health, dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Uniforms
  • Safety boot and prescription safety-glass reimbursement
  • Continued technical training
  • Clean, well-ventilated shop with good equipment

This operation has been in the heavy-duty truck business for decades, and they're serious about taking care of their technicians and giving good mechanics room to grow.

If you're a diesel tech who likes fixing trucks, solving problems and going home at the end of the day knowing the job was done right, apply today.
