Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor

We are looking for a Claims Supervisor to support office-based claims operations in Chicago, Illinois. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can guide claim administration activities, maintain organized workflows, and help ensure timely handling of case-related documentation. The role requires strong coordination skills, sound judgment, and the ability to keep daily processes running efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day claim administration tasks and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate claim-related records, correspondence, and supporting documents to maintain organized and accessible files.
• Monitor workflow activity, identify delays or inconsistencies, and take action to keep operations moving effectively.
• Provide guidance to staff involved in claims support functions and promote consistent administrative practices.
• Review claim documentation for completeness and follow up on missing details when needed.
• Communicate with internal teams regarding claim status updates, priorities, and processing needs.
• Support reporting efforts by tracking operational metrics and summarizing claim activity for leadership.
• Help maintain compliance with internal procedures and office standards related to claims handling. Candidates must hold a valid California adjuster's license and live in California. This person will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, delivers excellent customer service, and works closely with internal stakeholders, injured employees, medical providers, and legal counsel to facilitate timely and cost-effective claim outcomes. The hourly salary range for this position is 40.00 to $47.00. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
