VP of Technology

We are looking for a strategic technology executive to lead infrastructure direction and strengthen enterprise systems for a growing real estate and property organization in Orlando, Florida. This role will shape technology priorities, guide cross-functional delivery, and ensure reliable, secure platforms that support business performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in cloud environments, network technologies, and core infrastructure, along with the leadership skills to drive execution through agile methods.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the overall technology roadmap, aligning infrastructure and platform decisions with operational goals and long-term business strategy.
• Oversee cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance across critical systems.
• Direct network and infrastructure initiatives involving AWS services, Cisco-based technologies, and enterprise hardware platforms.
• Partner with business and technical leaders to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and deliver technology solutions that improve organizational effectiveness.
• Establish and refine agile ways of working, enabling teams to manage delivery cycles, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain consistent execution.
• Lead evaluation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of core infrastructure components to support stable day-to-day operations.
• Manage technology governance, risk, and compliance practices, including security controls, disaster recovery planning, and operational resilience.
• Mentor technology leaders and technical teams, building accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the function.
• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role with responsibility for infrastructure strategy and enterprise technology operations.
• Strong expertise in AWS technologies and their application within scalable, secure business environments.
• Deep knowledge of Cisco technologies, including networking principles and enterprise connectivity solutions.
• Hands-on understanding of core infrastructure, including servers, storage, hardware, and foundational IT systems.
• Demonstrated success leading teams within Agile Scrum or similar delivery frameworks.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technology initiatives and measurable outcomes.
• Experience developing governance standards for security, continuity, and infrastructure reliability.
