Original job description
We are looking for an experienced User Experience (UX) Designer to join a growing team supporting digital product design initiatives in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented design specialist who can shape intuitive, effective experiences while helping establish scalable standards across products and platforms. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business leaders to turn complex needs into thoughtful, user-centered solutions in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Drive UX projects from initial discovery through wireframing, prototyping, and final design delivery for digital products.
- Build clear, engaging interfaces in Figma that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Strengthen and expand design system assets, component libraries, and reusable patterns to improve consistency across experiences.
- Apply atomic design principles to create scalable frameworks that support responsive product development.
- Convert business objectives, user input, and research findings into practical design concepts and interaction flows.
- Use research methods and experiment results, including A/B testing insights, to refine experiences and improve usability.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs are realistic to implement and remain effective through development.
- Present design recommendations to senior stakeholders while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Create responsive solutions across multiple screen sizes with careful attention to layout, typography, and visual clarity.
- At least 10 years of UX design experience in digital product environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma for wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design work.
- Demonstrated success managing design systems and maintaining shared component libraries.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and clean interface design.
- Experience translating business requirements into user flows, wireframes, and structured UX solutions informed by research.
- Working knowledge of how front-end development constraints affect design execution and handoff quality.
- Familiarity with using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms to support workflows and design exploration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, product teams, and engineers while remaining composed in fast-moving settings.
