We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support the reliability, performance, and day-to-day administration of cloud infrastructure in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role works closely with technical teams and business partners to maintain core Azure and cloud-based services, resolve operational issues, and keep systems secure, current, and well-documented. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with cloud platforms, strong attention to process, and a proactive approach to improving service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, configure, and support cloud infrastructure and platform services across Azure and related environments.
  • Monitor system availability and overall platform health, performing regular checks to identify and address issues before they affect operations.
  • Plan and execute operating system and application updates during approved maintenance periods, including validation and post-deployment review.
  • Manage cloud storage artifacts such as snapshots and unused volumes by tracking lifecycle status and removing obsolete resources.
  • Coordinate certificate issuance and renewal activities for externally accessible websites and services.
  • Fulfill infrastructure change requests such as server resizing and capacity adjustments to align resources with operational needs.
  • Handle incidents and service requests through the ticketing queue, delivering timely resolution for user and system concerns.
  • Review server records and supporting system data on a scheduled basis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements for new capabilities, support service implementation, and contribute recommendations for process and technology improvements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, standards, and support materials for cloud operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting systems engineering, cloud operations, or infrastructure administration.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud administration practices in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration and support.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and identity-related system management.
  • Exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and an understanding of multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience following change management procedures and working within defined maintenance windows.
  • Ability to manage and resolve work through a service management platform such as ServiceNow.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, and written communication skills.
