Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support and enhance core enterprise infrastructure in Deer Park, Illinois. This position focuses on maintaining reliable identity, messaging, server, and virtualization environments while helping the organization strengthen performance, access, and security. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience across Microsoft technologies and can troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments to ensure secure, reliable user access and identity management.
• Maintain Microsoft Windows Server systems, including configuration, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning across the infrastructure.
• Support Citrix-based platforms by resolving technical issues, improving end-user experience, and sustaining application availability.
• Manage Microsoft Exchange services, including mailbox administration, system health checks, and issue resolution.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents by performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative solutions.
• Partner with internal teams to plan, test, and deploy system improvements while minimizing disruption to business operations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for server configurations, access controls, support procedures, and environment standards.
• Hands-on experience supporting Active Directory and Azure Active Directory in a production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing or supporting Citrix technologies in an enterprise setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange administration and operational support.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues across identity, server, and messaging platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience creating and maintaining clear technical documentation and support procedures.
