- Monitor daily cash movements, record banking activity accurately, and help maintain reliable reporting on cash positions and financial performance.
- Provide hands-on support for both payables and receivables workflows to promote timely processing and accurate recordkeeping.
- Review financial information for inconsistencies, research unusual variances, and resolve discrepancies through careful analysis.
- Prepare and organize tax-related documentation, including support for corporate tax and sales tax filings, while maintaining compliance records.
- Collaborate with business partners and leadership to assist with budgeting activities, recurring reports, and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function and provide support on special projects as business needs evolve.
- Experience in staff accounting with strong working knowledge of general ledger activities and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries within a structured accounting environment.
- Familiarity with corporate tax, sales tax, and related filing support requirements.
