As a Staff Accountant, you will support a variety of client engagements, helping organizations maintain financial accuracy, improve processes, and navigate critical business needs. What You'll Do

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
• Help identify process improvement opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles
• Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, Sage, or Intacct preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting internship or experience
• Experience supporting audits
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Exposure to financial reporting and analysis
• Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth environments
• CPA candidate or interest in pursuing CPA certification
