Staff Accountant

Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our permanent Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries Perform account and bank reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation Create and maintain Excel-based reports and schedules Participate in system implementations, process improvements, and special projects Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP, Sage, Workday, or similar preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and technologies Excellent communication and organizational skills
