This position will oversee the current enterprise application landscape, provide hands-on support to business users, and contribute to system improvements across core operational areas. The role also plays an important part in modernization efforts by supporting migration-related activities, strengthening system reliability, and helping the organization prepare for future platform capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily administration of the ERP environment, including system upkeep, monitoring, updates, and overall operational stability.
  • Provide frontline support to users in areas such as order management, production, inventory control, and reporting, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Partner with business teams to identify process gaps, recommend practical system enhancements, and improve how the platform supports operations.
  • Administer user accounts, roles, and security permissions to ensure appropriate access and compliance with internal controls.
  • Support backup procedures, recovery readiness, patch deployment, and ongoing health checks across the application environment.
  • Contribute to migration initiatives by assisting with planning, testing, implementation support, and stabilization activities for the future-state platform.
  • Work with stakeholders and external partners to document integrations, evaluate system dependencies, and support architecture discussions tied to modernization efforts.
  • Assist with long-term data retention and archiving efforts, including validation of archival approaches, cleanup planning, and optimization of historical data management.
  • Provide infrastructure-related support such as environment coordination, server administration activities, and security hardening efforts where needed.
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP administration, application support, or a closely related enterprise systems role.
  • Hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments in a functional and administrative capacity.
  • Working knowledge of key SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, PP, QM, and PM.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into system improvements or support solutions.
  • Familiarity with end-user support, issue troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration in manufacturing or operational environments.
  • Understanding of server administration, system maintenance, backup administration, and environment support practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders while managing changing priorities.
