This position supports a broad range of tax engagements, including individual, corporate, and sales and use tax matters, while partnering closely with clients to deliver accurate, timely filings and practical guidance. The role offers flexibility in work arrangement, with remote potential based on experience and business needs, and is well suited for someone who thrives in a public accounting environment with seasonal workload shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings for individuals, businesses, and related entities with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

  • Advise clients on tax matters by analyzing financial information, identifying filing obligations, and explaining tax implications clearly.
  • Coordinate multiple client engagements and deadlines throughout the year, adjusting priorities during peak tax periods to maintain timely delivery.
  • Research complex tax questions and apply current regulations to support sound filing positions and client recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal accounting and audit professionals to address tax-related issues that affect broader client engagements.
  • Support specialized tax situations, including matters with international components, as client needs continue to expand.
  • Contribute to process improvements and assist with operational changes that affect tax workflow, documentation, or reporting practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in public accounting with a strong background in tax preparation and compliance.
  • Hands-on expertise preparing individual and corporate tax returns.
  • Working knowledge of sales and use tax requirements and related filing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain quality during high-volume tax seasons.

  • Self-directed work style with the ability to succeed in either an in-office or remote environment.
