This role is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented individual who brings deep expertise in Cisco-based infrastructure, network protection strategies, and large-scale deployment work. The successful candidate will help maintain reliable connectivity across multiple sites while advancing secure access, routing performance, and operational resilience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies.
- Manage and optimize routing, switching, and secure connectivity across multi-site and remote-access environments.
- Configure and maintain network security platforms, including firewalls, VPN solutions, traffic visibility tools, and identity-aware access controls.
- Drive major infrastructure initiatives such as large-scale deployments, integrations, and network modernization efforts.
- Monitor network health and performance, using flow analysis and diagnostic data to identify issues and improve reliability.
- Strengthen security posture by applying zero-trust principles, secure access methods, and data protection measures throughout the network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex incidents and ensure stable service delivery for business operations.
- Document architecture, operational standards, and support procedures to promote consistency and effective network governance.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking and network security in primarily Cisco-based environments.
- 10+ years of experience contributing to large implementations, complex integrations, and high-impact infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, including core communication principles across enterprise networks.
- Proven experience with IP routing concepts and protocols, including BGP and other dynamic routing technologies.
- Solid understanding of network security concepts such as zero trust, NetFlow, firewalls, data loss prevention, identity management, and secure network access.
- Experience supporting WAN and remote connectivity technologies, including IPsec and remote access VPN solutions.
- Familiarity with multi-site network architectures and segmented or fabric-based environments.
- Active security-focused networking certification is preferred.
