Sr. Financial Analyst (contract-to-hire)

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing aerospace manufacturing organization in Texas on a contract-to-permanent basis. In this role, you will work closely with finance leadership to deliver meaningful analysis, strengthen reporting, and support decisions across multiple sites and product lines. This opportunity is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys working with complex data, and can quickly contribute with limited ramp-up time. This is a contract-to-hire position Onsite (Monday-Thursday; option to be remote Friday)

Contract-to-hire Senior Financial Analyst:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare recurring financial updates for leadership, including weekly business summaries, monthly operating reviews, and forward-looking forecast reports.
• Build and maintain reporting packages that give management clear visibility into financial performance across several locations and product lines.
• Contribute to budgeting, annual planning, and forecast cycles by developing analysis that supports accurate and timely financial projections.
• Evaluate actual results against plans and forecasts, identify key performance drivers, and communicate findings to finance and operational leaders.
• Analyze large volumes of operational and financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities within a manufacturing environment.
• Create financial models and business intelligence reporting tools that improve decision support and enhance visibility into performance.
• Streamline reporting activities and help establish scalable finance processes that support continued business growth.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in finance and operations to address ad hoc analysis requests, support strategic initiatives, and solve business challenges.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or senior financial analysis roles.
• Background in manufacturing, production, aerospace, defense, industrial, or similar operational environments.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a business-facing finance role.
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of complex analytical responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with confidence presenting insights to finance and operational leadership.
• Experience with financial modeling and ad hoc analysis to support decision-making.
• Power BI and ERP system experience, including platforms such as Epicor, Deltek, or similar, is preferred.
