Sr. Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join a team in Broomfield, Colorado on a Long-term Contract basis. This role will focus on translating financial and operational data into meaningful insights that support planning, reporting, and leadership decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, experience building executive-ready reporting, and the ability to explain business performance through clear financial storytelling.

Responsibilities:

• Lead recurring reporting activities across weekly, monthly, and forecasting cycles to ensure timely, accurate financial visibility.
• Maintain and enhance profit and loss reporting, leadership dashboards, regional performance summaries, and materials designed for executive audiences.
• Evaluate financial outcomes and operating indicators to uncover patterns, highlight risks, and identify areas for improved performance.
• Interpret variances and business results, turning complex data into concise narratives that explain key drivers and outcomes.
• Create presentation content and supporting analysis for FP&A leadership discussions and cross-functional business review meetings.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to answer emerging business questions and support decision-making with relevant financial insights.
• Proven experience in financial analysis within a corporate finance, FP&A, or related environment.
• Strong capability in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in preparing monthly reporting and ad hoc financial reports for management audiences.
• Experience using data mining techniques to extract insights from large or complex datasets.
• Hands-on knowledge of Planful or similar financial planning and reporting platforms.
• Ability to communicate financial results clearly through dashboards, presentations, and written business commentary.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with close attention to accuracy and detail.
