Description
We are looking for an experienced Remote Sr. Contracts Administrator to support contract lifecycle activities. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who can independently manage complex agreement workflows, interpret legal and commercial terms, and partner effectively with sales, operations, and internal stakeholders. The role will focus on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering customer and vendor agreements while helping maintain consistent contract processes, documentation, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full contract lifecycle for sales, vendor, renewal, amendment, and statement of work documentation, from intake through execution and filing.
- Review, revise, and prepare contract templates, order documents, and complex agreement packages to support accurate and timely deal processing.
- Evaluate customer redlines and provide initial responses, escalating higher-risk or non-standard issues to legal or other internal partners when needed.
- Support negotiation of business and legal terms, including pricing language and commercial provisions, to ensure final agreements reflect approved positions.
- Coordinate with legal, sales, sales operations, procurement, and management teams to keep contract requests moving and communicate status updates clearly.
- Obtain electronic signatures, distribute completed agreements to appropriate parties, and maintain organized records within document management systems.
- Monitor turnaround times and workflow activity, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and consistency across the department.
- Maintain contract governance by interpreting existing agreements, validating legacy documentation, tracking renewals and obligations, and reinforcing internal policy requirements.
- Administer related operational tasks such as purchase order request processing, vendor record maintenance, consultant statement of work creation, and business license renewal support.
Requirements • At least 5 years of contract administration experience, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and administering complex commercial agreements and statements of work.
- Strong understanding of contract risk areas such as indemnification, limitation of liability, termination rights, compliance obligations, and post-execution commitments.
- Experience managing amendments, change orders, renewals, notices, and contract governance controls throughout the agreement lifecycle.
- Ability to interpret legal terms and translate them into practical guidance for sales, operations, and other non-legal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, DocuSign, Salesforce.com, and document or contract management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound judgment.
- Proven ability to work independently, stay organized, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
