This Long-term Contract position will act as a senior resource for certification operations, helping ensure accurate case review, sound policy application, and dependable program administration. The role requires strong judgment, careful attention to detail, and the ability to communicate regulatory guidance clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage advanced certification transactions, including initial applications, renewals, appeals, and non-routine eligibility reviews, while ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Apply certification rules, policy standards, and regulatory criteria to make consistent determinations and address complex compliance questions.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated applicant and credentialing issues by using independent judgment and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Track updates in regulatory or program requirements and help revise related procedures, forms, and operational documentation to maintain compliance.
  • Safeguard the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of certification records and associated applicant data across administrative processes.
  • Serve as a key technical resource for staff, proctors, and internal partners by offering guidance on credentialing standards and certification procedures.
  • Create and deliver training resources, reference materials, and process documentation that strengthen team knowledge and support consistent execution.
  • Lead or contribute to audits, data cleanup efforts, program rollouts, reporting activities, and process improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with external organizations, vendors, educational partners, and regulatory contacts while supporting exam logistics, scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
  • Prepare summaries, correspondence, and performance-related reports for leadership, and represent certification operations in meetings and collaborative discussions.
  • Demonstrated experience in certification, credentialing, licensing, or a closely related regulatory compliance environment.
  • Strong ability to interpret detailed policies, eligibility standards, and regulatory requirements with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or policy-based information clearly.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive records with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience providing guidance, training, or mentorship to staff, proctors, or other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in administrative support functions such as data entry, office coordination, inbound call handling, and general front-office support where needed.
